I updated to Ubuntu 22.04, and my package installer now seems to be broken for some reason

I'm stuck in tty and can't find a way out

sudo apt -f install gives an error saying /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code

Tried a lot of stuff, no idea how to fix this. Any help would be appreciated.
