@BeastOfCaerbannog they can't
I think closing a question for having an answer in it is the worst way to handle it
@andrew.46 I don't think an answer should be edited out of a question until the answer has been posted

Yeah. IMO the ways to handle such cases are:
- Let the OP know about the wrong formatting they used and how to fix it. Wait for some time to fix it. If they don't respond in a couple of days, post the answer as a CW.
- Add the answer from the question as a CW with a note for the OP that if they want, they may add their answer themselves and then delete the CW.
The first point is the best for me.
Closing the question in a case like this one requires reopening after quite a bit of effort, which effectively then brings us to the initial situation. So closing in the first place just made things worse without offering anything.

@BeastOfCaerbannog feel free to ping me in such cases. Eventually I will find it

@Zanna Thanks! I just didn't want to bother you for this. Especially since I had also contacted the mod that closed the question through a comment under the post (never got a response though).

hmph. well anyway, please do ping any time :)

I will! Thanks! :D

@Zanna I agree. This was an action taken by the OP unfortunately. Luckily he did so while he improved his answer and then posted it after I reopened.
