They're changing the user interface every day! Sometimes yellow, sometimes blue! But honestly none of them looks nice.

I've noticed a handful of posts that are asking "What is the rationale for XYZ?" and they get closed as opinion-based. Is there a Meta post somewhere that justifies this? I didn't see one, but I may have missed it.
They don't seem opionion-based to be as there is (almost?) always a reason for doing something, and it is probably documented somewhere, like in a mailing list. So while I'm not sure how useful those questions are, I'm a bit confused as to why they keep getting closed as opinion-based

@cocomac If you see such a post again, you can bring it here so we can discuss about it and see if closing is justified.

Q: Why is there no repair option or commands to fix ubuntu?

entryLVL-py3GuyI tried to install MX-linux21 OS over my ubuntu21.10, well didnt override correctly. So I tried to go back to ubuntu21.x. The gnu grub2.04 window is only thing showing up now. I went thru the directions of booting from USB-stick and the /efi/boot/bootx64 will not load because it says cant read...

@Natty fp - not a good answer though
@cocomac Hmmm... I think that this is not an opinion-based question. In my opinion the problem is that OP doesn't use the English language well. In this case, it seems to me that the OP isn't actually asking for the reason "why is there no repair option or commands to fix ubuntu?", but they are looking for a way to solve their issue. It just isn't stated well.
