@EliahKagan don't know how it reached the queue - the only flag is on the comment

I guess the system automatically put it there due to length and whatnot.

All these years I have been reviewing LQPs totally unjustly thinking "What? Who flagged this? Did they even read?" When it turns out so many posts get sent there automatically. Sorry fellow Ask Ubuntu-ers

@Zanna my question so far has received 13 upvotes and no downvotes, but all of the comments and answers it has received so far seem to be challenging its premises in some way

thank you :D
I added posts to these (I think) unproblematic tags
I also added posts to these tags which have an excerpt but no wiki:
I also added posts to these tags which have neither:
Another issue is that, at some point during the process I realised that is called Image Viewer and I am not sure how many posts in should instead be in (I am sure I made some mistakes with that). OTOH, I am actually not sure if should and can be used generically since people may not know the program's real name is EOG/Eye of Gnome. So I am not sure what I need to do to fix that situation yet
Also, I think I mostly removed the tags and when I saw them, thinking they are too vague, but they are still there - the former with less than 30 questions, the latter with about 95
Also, there is a tag (~130 questions) which I am thinking should probably be a synonym of the large tag
Also wondering if anything needs to be done about and (both of which I think I added a few times)
convert is a command from Imagemagick (I also added many times but that is also unproblematic) but it has the excerpt "related to the conversion from one [file-] format to another" (it has a very small, not very informative wiki) while conversion is, according to the excerpt "conversion between various file formats" (although that is what convert does, I think "conversion" described this way is a broader topic)
When I added , I was at least sometimes thinking of the convert command (sorry for the vagueness of these points - it's just that I started working on it a long time ago and these issues only gradually became apparent), but the questions seem to be about conversion from one file type to another in general, and I don't think we really need a tag just for the convert command (the tag, perhaps along with the tag, should be sufficient, I think)
So perhaps should be a synonym of
I am thinking of making a Trello board for tags that have no wiki
or it could be a general tag-fixing board
Any input is welcome!

other tags to remove: (I think)

should be renamed IMO. For example, ?

I guess I need to survey the tag again - I would guess that, if it were named support-period, and all the questions in it that do not relate to that were taken out, there would be less than 50. But the idea of a support period for a particular Ubuntu version is one that we need better resources about, I strongly feel, especially since it currently informs our scope without us having, afaik, any clear up-to-date reference on the topic...

Some questions are really about the support-period and I think using there makes sense. To speed up the survey, you can read the comments on my question about that tag on Ask Ubuntu Meta
This seems like a comment, instead of an answer.

I read your comments... I even answered your question hahaha
@Kulfy ah yes, a comment on the answer that recommends flatpak
when I say survey, I mean, look at the posts (sorry if that was unclear)

@Zanna There are at least two answers which suggests using flatpak. I wonder the answerer had enough points to leave a comment but still chose to post an answer.

@Zanna Nice. I thought an answer can only be converted to a comment to a single post.

no improvement - The old wording was clear and grammatical, if a bit awkward. The new wording has a different meaning, and it is also unclear and severely ungrammatical. What is "I faced this issue too until now, reboot to get the network going again." supposed to mean?
The author had been saying they needed to reboot until they used a different solution, which they then go on to give. That's clear from the old wording but not at all from the new wording.

not off-topic - the two close votes are for the bug close reason, but as written this is not an attempt to report a bug, it is not obvious that it's due to a bug, and nobody has explained why that reason would apply
This question does not seem unclear or opinion-based to me. They're asking how to do something in Ubuntu that they know how to do in Mint.
@Kulfy The timeline reveals the technique by which this was achieved. :)

not OT - This was reopened yesterday, it has @EliahKagan's comment clarifying that it is not off-topic, but still gets a close vote for being off-topic.

no longer needed - Externally linked sources do not have to be in English, and that comment, appearing first, is distracting from the actual issue here (explained the subsequent comment by @Kulfy which should not be removed). If I replied to it, that would be more distraction (besides, absurd irrelevancies like that probably should just always be flagged as no longer needed).

Should the messages in popups be formatted as code or quote? In this question, I wrote the error message in pop up with quote formatting but one of the mod recently changed it to code formatting. Should it be cleaned up (because of nbsp and emsp) or rolled back?
@EliahKagan They usually hangout in Charcoal HQ. You might like to discuss the situation with them.

@Natty tp

@Kulfy Oh.
I guess. It's not really a big issue.
Not a bad idea though.
Oh, but the comment is already gone. I'll try and ping them if I see others. I don't think it's part of any pattern though.

Sounds good.

@Natty tp I'm not sure if it should be expanded, or converted to a comment, or just deleted.
@Kulfy Messages shown in message boxes and other graphical dialog boxes should not generally be formatted as code. It would be reasonable if that's the only way to make them readable. Otherwise I believe blockquote formatting is preferred.
In that particular case, I don't know of any reason it would be better as code.
It probably doesn't need the   and  . I wouldn't have put those. It's not usually necessary to preserve indentation or to simulate center-justified text in graphical error messages. But I think the post is fine. Even if those are to be removed, I don't think it would also need to be formatted as code.
