not dupe (though not for the reason the OP is saying -- I've commented)
does not seem off-topic - the OP is using Ubuntu and asking how to do something in Ubuntu
OT Debian - the system being asked about is in the Docker container and is Debian
@Zanna I have no idea. Does Sentinel offer this information?
I don't have an account on Sentinel. Some features require login but I'm not sure exactly which ones or what I would see if I logged in. Also, I'm not sure if I actually can make an account, and if I should, as Sentinel thinks I'm someone else.

1:17 AM
@EliahKagan oh haha that's quite a severe bug
@EliahKagan I have no idea, but maybe we could write a script to count the tp and fp messages and see if the ratio improved over time, or something

1:54 AM
@Zanna I had thought the bug was reported, but it seems not.
@Zanna If Sentinel is like metasmoke, then it may have a data explorer that sufficiently privileged users can write and run SQL queries in.

dupe Please add my 2nd duplicate link. According to the OP's comment: Yes, I followed those instructions and was able to get the USB to the boot screen! I appreciate your help!

@EliahKagan The issue was closed on May 14. double-beep attempted to solve the issue and ArtOfCode closed that. Unfortunately, that didn't fix

I don't think this is an answer...

6:04 AM
does this comment really make that question no-repro?
oh... that was posted as an answer
I am going to reopen it and undelete the answer

7:10 AM
@Kulfy Oh--thanks! So, going by the linked PR, if I do have an account on Sentinel, that will actually cause my feedback to be attributed correctly?
@Zanna Not since the edit, I'd say.

@Natty ne (could be considered simply fp) - regarding what to actually do with the post, I'm not sure... the question has been pretty clearly interpreted as encompassing that (see my comment) and it wasn't intended as a comment or edit, but I could see an argument for converting it to an edit on the existing answer about how to manually start lampp.
@Natty fp

@EliahKagan Sentinel is still linking to chat.stackoverflow

@EliahKagan Factoring out the additional verbiage that doesn't answer the question I get the result that it's a duplicate of another answer.

@EliahKagan weird... why did they make it less answery?

I don't know. Arguably it could be repaired by editing, to include the old material. I guess.

7:39 AM
I deleted it :/

OT GParted live USB (not GParted app on the Ubuntu live USB)

on Takkat's answer? Or on the question?

@Zanna I'm not sure. Probably Takkat's answer.

or the answer under that!

hmm

8:40 AM
or on all of them XD

Maybe the question then.
Is there a reason for this post, which was edited to no longer be link-only and then deleted, to be deleted?

it was edited after the first two votes
it looks good
@EliahKagan done

8:57 AM
Thanks.
@Zanna Thanks, I've voted to undelete it.

9:09 AM
I also voted to undelete it

9:24 AM
@Natty What release is that file for?
Seems maybe 18.04? packages.ubuntu.com/…
But maybe that's intentional, the idea being that users of older releases can try to install the newer package that has the bugfix?

Q: Add code search syntax to search tips

Ben BrockaAfter Search just code we now have a way to search code, so something like code:"-->" searches for the infamous --> "operator". (Protip: it's not an operator, it's two) Could this be added to the Search Tips page so it's discoverable? On Stack Overflow it's extremely helpful, and I only just hea...

seems answered in comments @Kulfy Based on your comment, would you be willing to post an answer?
@Natty tp

> Ubuntu 20.04 LTS ships with a newer ZFS
sounds like it uses ZFS by default
I mean, the quoted text makes it sound like that, not that I am concluding that

2:08 PM
One of my 20.04 system is installed from scratch (rather than upgraded), and I had the installer partition it automatically, and it uses ext4.
OTOH that's a Lubuntu system (whose installer, Calamares, isn't even the same installer used by other graphical Ubuntu flavors).

hmm... either way, maybe that is something that an answer should clarify

What's up with the link the OP edited into this question? I suspect that this is spam.

Yes it's spam. The original content was copied from this thread on Ubuntu forums

@EliahKagan I reported that in Charcoal HQ on your behalf since reporting spams should be done asap IMO.

@Kulfy Yes, of course. Thanks again!

:)
Gone.

Excellent.

It seems the suggested edits on spam does show if the review is complete. For example, this shows up in history but that didn't.

unclear, OP didn't provide the necessary outputs.
^ I can empathise with the OP. It seems they got overwhelmed and lost by the highly speculative answer and and the follow-up exchange that kept leading them farther from the solution they were looking for.
We have canonical target for this question, right? (also unclear-ish)

no longer needed, misplaced comment, it's not a thank-you answer
(I will remove my response too)
(unrelated) sounds like a bug and/or quite unclear
^ cannot reproduce on my 20.04

@pomsky Gone. You might delete your comment too.

@pomsky Most questions that describe a blank purple screen get closed as duplicates of My computer boots to a black screen, what options do I have to fix it? but considering the change that preceded the problem I'm not sure if that would help or not.

@EliahKagan voting as unclear
^ OP didn't respond to the query too
