@karel The problem was diagnosed based on specific information gleaned from the Ubuntu system, which means it does not satisfy the description for "no repro," especially the "unlikely to help future readers" part. I don't think hardware problems that are diagnosed from specific technical information obtained from within Ubuntu are generally no repro.
I don't know if we have a community consensus either way on this--I have not found one--but a plain reading of the description of "no repro" would not justify its application here. I think we are too quick to close and delete on-topic questions that will help future visitors if kept.
@Natty tp - spam, at least technically, in that it violates the disclosure policy

If my mouse or keyboard doesn't work I usually try plugging it in to another computer. If it's something I can't move like a wireless adaptor I try booting to a live session with an Ubuntu liove USB.

@EliahKagan I retracted my close vote. Let's see what happens. I still want to avoid having a new question for every make and model of every broken hardware device.

OT hardware, never actually related to anything in Ubuntu (or if it did, no information about that is given)
dupe (or unclear)
seems on-topic to me, it's about tooling
not unclear (since the edit)

@Zanna If you want to shrink the CV queue more than you could by reviewing 20 close votes, you could use the 10k tools to VTC all the questions you can find with recent close votes that should actually be closed.

good idea :)
maybe I'll manage that today

Also, I believe the only reason the system limits the number of close-vote reviews per day is to avoid encouraging or incentivizing reviewers to review with inadequate attention. That is, the only per-user impact I believe it is trying to limit is the impact of possibly ill-considered actions that confer stats and badges. As such, I believe it is acceptable to click Skip and VTC outside the queue.
To clarify, obviously this is acceptable, but I mean, I believe it is acceptable to click skip and VTC outside the queue for arbitrarily many CV queue items that one wishes to VTC.
If one is to do this, one should of course be willing to explain, to anyone who asks, why one seems to always vote Leave Open or Edit. :)
I don't do this, per se, but the pattern of CV queue usage that comes naturally to me is to nearly always visit a question page before voting to close, so I actually end up doing something like that unless I deliberately make myself go back to the queue and click Close there.

@EliahKagan I used to do that a lot when I was always hitting the limit
in 2016 I basically quit a large amount of my paid work and spent all the freed time on Ask Ubuntu XD

oh the close reasons have changed!

Their names have changed, yes.
I think in some cases their descriptions have changed.
I believe it was part of the post notices change, even though the close dialog is not actually a post notice. (The displayed banner when a question is closed is one though.)

A number of video conversion questions that were closed as duplicates of a big broad one are in the reopen queue. In most of them that I've seen so far, I think they really are dupes of the big broad one... but this one seems just specific enough to warrant reopening.
This one too, albeit barely.

Why did the post owner approve this wrong edit? The answer was reasonable before and now it's wrong. Should the edit be rolled back. (I'm not proposing to enter into a rollback war with the post owner, but rather I suspect the post owner may not have known that the information was wrong.) For now I've commented... and downvoted.
It feels silly to downvote something that I could instead fix by editing, but in this case I'm not sure if such an edit would be consistent with the post author's wishes.
Although this answer could benefit from expansion, it's neither NAA nor VLQ.

It's better to close this as dupe instead of OT-EOL.

I agree. That question is not actually off-topic at all, because the OP is very likely to need to solve that problem in order to upgrade (and it looks like they may be in the middle of attempting an upgrade).

@EliahKagan Should the edit be rolled back?
Oh you're confused too I guess.
I'm rolling back. Let's see if the OP rollbacks again.

Okay.
Do you want to roll back, or do you want to do a different edit that makes it so that the additional information is correct?

I just rolled back. I neither added something nor deleted anything from the original post.

5:24 PM
My comment is sort of obsolete, since the rollback, in that the post no longer says waht my comment says it says. OTOH, if I remove it, the OP and others may be confused as to why the edit was rolled back.
I've replaced my comment.
Do we have something for this?
seems dupe or unclear, though maybe a second target specifically about computing hashes should be added.

@Natty ne - since it seems that's intended as an answer, i.e., that it is intended to show the information the OP is asking for (whether or not it's a correct answer, I'm not sure)
