@EliahKagan Considering comments, I think it's a dupe of this. But I'm reluctant to vote since there are 2 unclear votes and 2 OT votes. If I cast my vote, it would probably be closed as unclear.
@karel I think you pasted a wrong link.
I think the suggested excerpt and usage guidance makes no sense and they are rejectable. I left a custom reject message, "The suggested excerpt mentions that it's an alternative to WhatsApp but as of now this tag is being used for digital signals."

Crap, I wrongly approved those edits based on me having seen a couple questions where they were about the messenger, and now the edits have gone through.
I wish there was a way to write an edit summary for a rollback.
(There sort of is in that I can make the edit that makes the same change as the roll back. But it would really weird and be confusing even with the message.)

Is it even possible to rollback those edits since there are only 2 revisions (created and an edit)?

Yes. The creation counts as a revision.

NIce!!! Should it be rolled back then?

That would be better than keeping them as is. But, especially since I'm the one who made the mistake that created the current problem, I think it's better for me to make a short, correct, at least minimally useful revision that replaces it with an accurate description of how we use the tag. I'm attempting to do this now. I'd be grateful if you'd be willing to revise it after I submit it.
(As a 20k user, I can submit tag wiki edits without going through review. That doesn't ensure my tag wiki edits are clear or correct, though :)

Yeah sure :). (I'll get +4 if I propose an edit and that get approved :P)

@Natty tp

@Kulfy Okay, I have edited both the tag wiki excerpt and full tag wiki. They would very possibly benefit from proofreading and revision.
The last paragraph I wrote for the full tag wiki should possibly be about half as long or maybe even should be removed. I am not sure.
That's not to say that I'm especially sure about the length or structure of the rest of the full tag wiki either.

Seems great!!! Thank you for looking into :)

No problem--thanks for reading them over.

(unrelated) Do we have something like how to make local bash commands work in Hadoop environment?

Maybe, but I don't know of such a question on AU.

I think the OP of this question wants to use vim while in Hadoop environment.

I (possibly unfortunately) voted to delete this answer but, it might be appropriate to edit it to incorporate oldfred's comment, or if the answer gets deleted maybe the comment can be posted as a CW answer, or maybe the question can be closed as a dupe?

no longer needed - that was never a link-only answer
What should be done with the last paragraph of this question? The OP doesn't have enough rep to post a question on meta.
What is this describing, exactly?
