This question seems pretty specific to me.

@EliahKagan I think this is another recent misuse of the custom off-topic flag. There's a reason the system does not allow us to close a question as a duplicate without specifying a target. If it should be closed on the grounds that it is a duplicate, then it should be closed as a duplicate.
not POB, and I am starting to wonder what people think POB means
also not POB, but at least that one was (so far) only flagged as POB, not VTC'd as such

^^ Although that perspective may have some merit, it's a comment. It's not answering the question, not even partially.

Flagged and down voted although I tend to agree with it hahaha
@EliahKagan maybe it now means there might be more than one approach possible

That seems like a wrong view someone could have of "too broad," not a wrong view someone could have of "primarily opinion-based."

@EliahKagan indeed!

@EliahKagan My objection to the answer is that it's misleading because the real problem with snaps is that they are often buggy, not the theming, so I voted to delete it.

Please add the second question from the comment to the dupe target askubuntu.com/q/1183121/816190

@Kulfy Done

Thanks :)
@EliahKagan You can now delete your comment
@EliahKagan But WinEunuuchs2Unix thinks that it's POB.

@EliahKagan If a user re-posts their question, I prefer to use the custom off-topic reason and write "I'm voting to close this question as it was re-posted", because the system is very unwilling to delete duplicates, but such questions should usually be deleted
often, the original question is bad and should be closed for some other reason
it gets deleted, rightly, but the re-post survives because 1) it has at least 2 comments saying "please don't re-post your question" "please edit your original question rather that posting a new version with additional info" etc and 2) its score did not become negative because people were unwilling to downvote it

@Natty tp - though borderline, it is a question asking for software recommendations (but the answer author is saying that it didn't really do what they needed, and there was no explanation)
@Natty ne (or arguably just fp)
@Kulfy Oh. I'll ask.

3:05 PM
Okay.
I can't think of a reason to reopen this. IMO the duplicate targets answers the question pretty well and I don't think Graham's comment makes sense. Should it be reopened?

@Kulfy I don't think that should be reopened.

I also think so.

@Kulfy I'm inclined to think we should undelete that question and post a CW answer.

@EliahKagan Sorry I don't exactly remember the question. All I can see is the review and question not found. As of now I don't have access to moderator tools, thus can't cast undelete vote.
But I think undeleting and posting a CW answer is never a bad idea

I'm curious, is there a way to move old messages without clicking "load older messages" many, many times to be able to scroll up to them?

@Kulfy Just realized firefox logged me out of AU but kept logged in SE chat. Strange.

These days, when I log into AU, I am still logged out of chat and all the other SE sites where I have accounts. Logging in to another SE site like Unix & Linux logs me into chat. Logging out of AU logs me out of everything.

I feel this inconsistency is because of having an option to login using Launchpad.
Although I don't have my AU account linked to Launchpad.
