Was the version tag appropriate for this question? (disclaimer: I edited it out). As per OP:

I think 18.04 tag was appropriate. I was not hoping for a general answer. I was specific about the features I was looking for. Highlighted them too. — user227495 2 hours ago

My reasoning;

Version tags should be used only for version specific questions (e.g. problem specific only to that specific Ubuntu version), not just because you're using the version. Since 18.04 is the current LTS release it's very likely that any software which is still maintained would be available for this version. If you have found any software which used to work with older release, but not with 18.04, then edit your question and mention it explicitly. — pomsky 4 mins ago

@pomsky I have for some time now adopted a position of non-interference with version tags because I am no longer able to maintain a position on whether and how version tags should be used

(unrelated to above) Would you consider helpfile a synonym of manual which in turn is a synonym of documentation? Since according to tag info of documentation: For questions regarding written documentation such as manuals, help files, policies, instructions, or guides.

Is helpfile not something specific? I mean a technical word?
