I don't know if this question should be open, but I think its current closure is wrong
I asked this meta question about this type of question
but that type of question usually comes in the form "I am considering buying this device and I want to know if it supports Ubuntu"
Hmm maybe that is POB rather than anything else
sigh
why do these questions bother me

Invalidated the previous feedback on askubuntu.com/a/1158660

Is this question answerable or a duplicate of something? I suspect it has views and votes because of the title it had before my edit
Is this question a relative of this one?
I do not think we should close that question as no repro

Was the version tag appropriate for this question? (disclaimer: I edited it out). As per OP:
I think 18.04 tag was appropriate. I was not hoping for a general answer. I was specific about the features I was looking for. Highlighted them too. — user227495 2 hours ago
My reasoning;
Version tags should be used only for version specific questions (e.g. problem specific only to that specific Ubuntu version), not just because you're using the version. Since 18.04 is the current LTS release it's very likely that any software which is still maintained would be available for this version. If you have found any software which used to work with older release, but not with 18.04, then edit your question and mention it explicitly. — pomsky 4 mins ago

@Zanna I remember I voted to close it as dupe. But majority voted it as opinionated.

@Kulfy I don't think it's a dupe of the suggested, at all
@pomsky I have for some time now adopted a position of non-interference with version tags because I am no longer able to maintain a position on whether and how version tags should be used
Your reasoning certainly makes sense to me
As do many of the other version tag arguments...
In both directions...
I guess I'm too impressionable

@Zanna But again how can we test whether an OS works or not on a device if don't have physical access to it?

@karel we need to give feedback to Natty based on the version of the answer it saw
I think that was LOA before the edit right?
So it's not an fp I think
We want Natty to flag such posts so they can be fixed
So that can be tp or ne for needs edit
I think ne is needs edit...
@Kulfy so, maybe it's POB then?
After I said that I think it's wrong, I thought, maybe it's right

@Zanna TBH I'm not sure.

Some days I'm just one of those annoying people who contradicts everything...
@Kulfy yeah... these types of questions bother me
That's why I wrote that meta post
Maybe it is POB rather than anything else
Because we can't give an evidence based answer
But maybe someone has the device and they can share research
Like with my device the X205TA

@Zanna Depends on the situation and the reasoning given in discussion.
@Zanna Should it be just opened and left until hopefully someone magically answers that in future or so?

@Kulfy well, that's how I feel about those questions
But I think the community does not agree

2:33 PM
@Zanna Not sure about that.
(unrelated to above) Would you consider a synonym of which in turn is a synonym of ? Since according to tag info of : For questions regarding written documentation such as manuals, help files, policies, instructions, or guides.

Is helpfile not something specific? I mean a technical word?

I don't think so. May be I should ask a meta question.
