Voted, although tbh it looks like they got the expected output there lol
Maybe we rather need an answer saying everything is working fine
Looks perfectly reproducible to me XD
But I don't think that question is going to help future readers
What do you think? Should I edit it and answer it? (Or you answer it?)
@Kulfy
In fact the existing answer is almost right
We could edit that too
Let's do that... yes I'm going to retract my vote and try to salvage this...

@Zanna Wait a minute
This question is basically similar to a question which I encounter some days back. I discussed about it in AUGR on which terdon suggested it is non-reproducible.
There is no issue in the question. Neither I see a "real" question there. If a user is using sudo I guess they know what are they doing. And considering this, question looks irreproducible.
But you can continue as you wish

This is reproducible
Run sudo with no arguments
Run su with no arguments
Did you not get the results mentioned by OP?
I disagree with terdon about that case being not reproducible and agree with dessert's suggestion of answering
The problem is reproducible
Should we assume the confusion is not reproducible?
I don't think so
There are a lot of people in the world :D
On U&L they have a policy of closing issues caused by a typo as no-repro, but I think it's a terrible and badly implemented policy
If an issue is reproducible, we should not assume confusion about it is not reproducible
Look how many dupes or linked posts there are of Nothing shows up in the terminal when I type my password
I wonder how many anon upvotes that question has

4:26 PM
Also title doesn't go with description. OP should've mentioned that they get authentication error while using su
Actually I can't see any reproducible problem since there isn't a problem.
Might be a good question for meta.
Since such questions are debatable and can cause confusion for new close voters.
Nevertheless +1 for the edit.

@Kulfy there doesn't have to be a problem for it to be a valid question

@Zanna Indeed. But still I can't see a question there. I guess I need to visit an eye specialist
