So just to confirm: You want a new tag created called 'kvm-virtualization' and you want to merge the tag 'kvm' into this with no synonym created? If so just confirm and I will go ahead...

Bear in mind when we do this: "When you merge one tag into another, the system automatically removes the old tag and replaces it with the new tag on all questions using the old tag. However, the old tag can still be created again and used on new questions."

@andrew.46 Yep, that's what I'm thinking. Rename the kvm tag to be called kvm-virtualization - I'm not an SME, but I can fill in a basic tag description. After the re-name, I'll go through the new tag and re-tag any questions about KVM switches (and not about KVM virtualization) to use the kvm-switch tag

@Pilot6 I asked in Charcoal. This was the answer: Gotcha. Yes, they appear to be obfuscating the phone number they're using and it's possible our number deobfuscation isn't detecting it as an obfuscated number with which it should detect and report. For this, particular, spam we can add that particular number to our watchlist so we'll know if it gets posted again.
