What's the need of this banner?

@Someone idk, it's a very silly banner

9:31 AM
@Someone I think, but I'm not quite sure (@Zanna might know), that this means the answer was caught and flagged by @Natty. The reasons displayed are the reasons ehy
In this post you can read that the purpose of @Natty is not only to report possible NAAs but also flag them:

Q: Can a machine be taught to flag Non-Answers and post comments on them automatically?

Bhargav RaoTL;DR: Yes, it can. Background: The New Answers To Old questions page in the moderator tools is one of the best tools that can be used to assist moderation and has often been described as a place to find flaggable answers. There are nearly 9000 new answers to old questions per week. A few users ...

@BeastOfCaerbannog But it shows the banner for all the posts.

@BeastOfCaerbannog no... the banner is always there, and Natty is not able to raise any type of flag...
what I don't know is how posts that aren't flagged end up in the LQP queue

@BeastOfCaerbannog I screwed this. I tried to make an edit but ran out of time.

some screening process

@Zanna It's because of Late answer and first posts queue

9:36 AM
@Someone nope
it's not
@BeastOfCaerbannog no... when it says something about an error relating to the post, that means it would have flagged if it could
but it can't

@Zanna Then apart from the bar being silly and useless, it's also misleading.

Let's ask Natty, if she could flag or not.

@BeastOfCaerbannog yup

@Zanna Perhaps if a flag gets retracted the post still remains in the queue?

Natty only has 1 rep on Ask Ubuntu, so doesn't have flagging privilege
@BeastOfCaerbannog no no
many many posts come to the queue without ever being flagged
even retracted flags have a history

9:40 AM
@Zanna OK
@Zanna o.O
And no one knows how?

I did not know this until I became a mod
I thought people were flagging posts very wrongly
but it was some automatic screening that put them in the queue, mostly
there are usually few flags to handle, but the LQP queue is full of stuff
@BeastOfCaerbannog I don't think there is any documentation, but there must be some code somewhere that does it

@Zanna OK
@Zanna I think that these messages should be moved to RotLD

yes

Why can't I flag questions in L&QP review queue?

9:49 AM
like many other conversations here lately haha
@Someone poor design

deleted it

@Someone In this answer of yours the git clone command is not mentioned in the source text. You have, however, quoted it. Can you please fix it?

11:30 AM
@BeastOfCaerbannog Fixed.

@Someone Hmmm. Isn't it though a necessary command? I don't think that removing it completely helps.

@BeastOfCaerbannog Is it OK now?

I mistakenly clicked "Approve" instead of "Improve edit" for this edit.
@someone The above shouldn't have been rejected. It actually improves the title.
@Someone I edited a bit more to what I think is a more natural position for the git command. Please check.

@BeastOfCaerbannog Thanks :)
@BeastOfCaerbannog Should I approve such tiny edits doing almost no change?

12:51 PM
@Someone This particular edit was not "doing almost no change". It fixed a typo in the title. the initial title was: "Ubuntu is asking me password for small small things". Note that "small" appears twice. Also the correct syntax is "ask for something", which the edit also addresses. Improving the edit would be the best choice, as there are more issues that can be fixed (obviously I did the wrong selection), but also approving it would be OK IMO. I wouldn't reject it in no case.
