It would be a good thing if this question could exist somewhere with an answer. Is is reasonable to reopen it so the solution can be moved from the question to an answer, then re-close it and migrate it to Unix & Linux? (Questions should be high-quality when migrated to another site, and having the solution as an edit to the question itself at the time of migration is likely to be seen as going against that.)
