@MustaphaElbazi They are indeed not the same, but judging by the OP's use of words, I doubt he has the knowledge to decipher the difference between a madhhab and asl al-fiqh al-madhhabi. He asked about al-osool but followed it by geographical adoption of madhhabs, and tenets ..., whereas al-osool is about methodology used.
