@AlUmmatمجاهد, I couldn't find the Hadeeth I was searching for regarding the Jew scholars and what they did, but it is clear that they hid some facts from their people to mislead them and preserve their own authority over them. [3:71], [3:187], interestingly [2:79], [2:146], [2:159], beside the verses you already cited here
@goldPseudo Ok, thanks. Also note here and that the Christians themselves do not believe Injeel to be revealed from Allah, as far as I have understood, so it is might be useless to prove for them the book has been corrupted! A book that is not revealed from God can simply contain lots of wrong points.

even today, (so-called) muslims can play fast and loose with the Qur'an to make it say what they want to say, taking words from their right places. doesn't mean the text is corrupted.

@goldPseudo Quran is totally different, it has the ability to be used in everyday life, I know people who say nothing but only from Quran, they can say everything that they want using the verses of Quran, that doesn't mean they are using Quran off-context, if I am not wrong. But anyway, the book has a message, if you change the massage to change the rules and conclude right from wrong and wrong from right that would be corrupting the message, and consequentl corrupting the book.
My idea anyway, maybe you will not agree.
I should leave for now, WasSalam

Q: How to cover awrah? (How loose is loose enough) (Sunni View)

Umar binI feel like no matter what I do I cannot cover my awrah. Even (especially?) if I wear multiple trousers, or wear two trousers and wrap a towel, when I walk people can still see the 'shape' of my thighs! Is it fine for people to see the 'shape' of my thighs for example if I wear two trousers? It's...

i've heard the "shape of the thighs" restriction before, but not sure where it really derives from.
the logic is sound, just not sure if it's a particular scholarly interpretation, or if it's actually from hadith.

Q: Please Down-Vote Beginner Questions

ashes999Possible dupe of: Question quality Dear Islam.SE users: we are deluged with low-quality beginner questions. By "beginner" questions, I mean questions that, if you spent less than five minutes searching even Google, you would find the answer. Seriously. Islam.SE and all SE sites are expert Q&...

A: Please Down-Vote Beginner Questions

Al Ummat مجاهدI agree that beginner questions should be down-voted, but not only down-voted but commented on. And by beginner questions I do not mean a beginner question of an intermediate or advanced subject like "What is an example of Da'f/ضعف restricted to country?" and "Into how many parts does usool Al F...

A: What is the community we're trying to build here?

MuzMost religion-based communities are very emotionally charged. They accomplish very little with the forum model because there will always be a few emotional types who steal the attention and drag people into arguments. The SE model works superbly in filtering out the aggressive, emotional types, a...

"However, I think questions here need to be given stricter view as well. Most of us upvote almost every question as a good one, as long as it has some basis. However, some questions are very easy to google and should be downvoted."
