Q: Books automatically deletes my books when offline, and when there is enough space on device

Ionică BizăuThere is something strange going on with Books on iPad and iPhone. It keeps deleting some books locally, keeping them in the cloud. It's frustrating because it happens when I'm offline and I simply lose the access to them. Why is this happening at all? And how can I stop it? I enabled syncing ...

@Monomeeth Wow! Thanks for all that information. I would assume the sticks were good ones as they came from crucial. Unsure how they could have been damaged, as the computer hasn't been opened since we replaced the RAM in 2011, but I guess its always possible. Nevertheless, replacement computer coming tomorrow (excited) meaning I'll have an extra old Mac mini (working now with half the RAM (one stick didn't fail) while we wait for RAM replacement)....
Which brings be to my next question...Kind of want to ask on main site but probably too broad...
Any suggestions for seamless transition between laptop MacBook Pro and Mac mini?
I know handoff exists and shared Apple ID's provide some transition between Safari some other examples. But I would like it really to feel like a good transition. Any suggestions appreciated greatly.

@Monomeeth Like I will have my desktop and laptop setup. I would like seamless transition between the two (when I switch from laptop to desktop) and also any suggestions on using them together (software wise, not hardware).
