It would be nice if I could recreate the Solo recorder for bioacoustic research, which used the Cirrus Logic Audio Card. I can put an audio card myself, if design files are available. [I tend to be better with circuit boards than with code.]
@goldilocks Thanks for taking the time to explain. While I find it useful to get notified on potential developments on my old questions, so that I can then give e.g. a problematic OS another look, I understand from your explanation that those questions make the front page less appealing.
