Desmos is an advanced graphing calculator implemented as a web application and a mobile application written in JavaScript. It was founded by Eli Luberoff, a math and physics double major from Yale University, and was launched as a startup at TechCrunch's Disrupt New York conference in 2011. As of September 2012, it had received around 1 million US dollars of funding from Kapor Capital, Learn Capital, Kindler Capital, Elm Street Ventures and Google Ventures. In addition to graphing both equations and inequalities, it also features lists, plots, regressions, interactive variables, graph restriction...

This Q Construct an additive group by transfinite induction asked for proof-verification and also asked for other ways to construct a Bernstein subset of $\Bbb R$ that is also an additive group. Consider $\Bbb R$ as a vector space over the field $\Bbb Q$ and let $B$ be a Hamel basis for $\Bbb R$ ...

In mathematics, a Bernstein set is a subset of the real line that meets every uncountable closed subset of the real line but that contains none of them.A Bernstein set partitions the real line into two pieces in a peculiar way: every measurable set of positive measure meets both the Bernstein set and its complement, as does every set with the property of Baire that is not a meagre set.
