I've been thinking we can eliminate analysis. Any objections? I think it's subsumed by real-analysis and compelx-analysis.

I am not talking about one big effort of a few days but rather, when we see it we remove it and replace it accordingly.

After a glance on the most recent question, I also see there questions which could be tagger (functional-analysis) or (calculus).

Retagging older questions seems like tremendous undertaking (definitely not few days).

@MattN. To answer your question here, I am more-or-less indifferent. Since I remember the effort which went into removing algebra, I am somewhat reluctant to suggestions leading to removing tags having many questions. But if the community consensus will be removing this tag, I'll try to help.

But I'll try to keep an eye on new questions, tagged analysis; it seems that this tag is not clearly defined and a little messy. (Some questions tagged by analysis definitely don't belong there.)
