@MartinSleziak Is there actually any difference between the newly created matrix-groups tag and the tag linear-groups which has existed already for some time?
The tag-excerpt says:

Linear group
In mathematics, a matrix group is a group G consisting of invertible matrices over a specified field K, with the operation of matrix multiplication, and a linear group is an abstract group that is isomorphic to a matrix group over a field K, in other words, admitting a faithful, finite-dimensional representation over K. Any finite group is linear, because it can be realized by permutation matrices using Cayley's theorem. Among infinite groups, linear groups form an interesting and tractable class. According to Wikipedia:

However, I don't think that such distinction warrants a separate tag. Perhaps creating tag synonym would be reasonable.

@MartinSleziak deleted-tag I see that polyhedral-product is not shown in the revision history - so it was most likely removed by the SE software. (A tag with a single occurrence, no tag wiki, at least 6 months old.)
