Q: Two players multiply a number until it reaches 1000

abc...Two players start with $1$ and take turns multiplying it by $2$ or $3$ or $4$ ... or $9$. The first player to make the number $\ge 1000$ wins. Who has a winning strategy? My attempt: obviously $112$ is a losing position since $112*9=1008$. Then it's a winning position for all numbers between $5...

Q: Is "generalization" a good tag?

YuiTo ChengRecently I've come across the tag "generalization", see here. It's relatively new and there is only one question (Edit: now removed) under it. @AsafKaragila Oh, I see your point. — YuiTo Cheng 3 hours ago

Only now I noticed that abc... also created a tag-excerpt for generalization. It seems a bit vague though: "to generalise a particular problem."

Q: Tag management 2019

Lord_FarinNew year, new tag management thread. Rules of the game are basically the same: Post your suggestion as an answer here if you see A particularly bad tag (a rule of thumb: «if I can't imagine a person classifying a tag as either interesting or ignored, I'm getting rid of it»), A tag that shoul...
