Another meta-tag was suggested here:

A: Tag management 2016

Paolo FranchiI suggest to add a tag (yes-or-no), used for question that are meant to receive a Yes/No answer, without need of further explanation. The standard question of this tag could be of the form "Is this fact/implication true?"

This would be a meta-tag. Despite the fact that a few such tag exists and are allowed, it is advised not to create new ones, unless there is a very good reason to. See: meta.math.stackexchange.com/questions/2498/the-meta-tagsMartin Sleziak 46 secs ago
Since we mention meta-tags which of them are missing in this answer:

A: The "meta-tags".

Willie WongGeneral introduction These tags (and some other similar ones) are known as "meta-tags": they describe certain aspects of the question that are independent of the mathematical subject the question is about, and they provide some information about what kinds of answer are sought. Their use is cons...

Are there some other meta-tags, which are not mentioned there?

user54748 In progress A lot of questions need manual retagging, and the tag adjoint needs renaming The tag adjoint is "[f]or questions about adjoints, in the category-theoretic or inner-product-space sense, as well as about adjugate matrices", which certainly falls under "two or more completely unrela...

Is it a good idea to add a tag "Classical Mechanics"?

3:09 PM
@johnny09 I am not sure what your question is. The tag already exists for some time. It has 490 questions at the moment.
Or are you trying to suggest that this tag should be removed?
I see that one of your questions is tagged with this tag. Did you perhaps wanted to ask about choice of tags for that particular question?

Q: Position vector of a particle moving with constant speed on a straight line

johnny09Suppose we have a particle which starts from a point $A$ and moves with constant speed $u$ along the line $AB$. One wants to show that the position vector $\mathbf{x}$ of the particle at time $t$ is $$\mathbf{x}=\mathbf{a}+ut\frac{\mathbf{b}-\mathbf{a}}{|\mathbf{b}-\mathbf{a}|},$$ where $\mathbf...

@MartinSleziak Sorry, I meant if it's a good idea to add a room with the tag Classical mechanics.

5:13 PM
If you think there will be enough discussion, then go ahead.
Perhaps it would be mor natural to associate such room with physics.SE.
And if you have some specific question you might as well ask in the main chat room on Physics.SE:

If you create a new room, the worst case scenario is that it will be frozen or deleted after some time of inactivity. So I'd say it cannot do too much harm.

@MartinSleziak Thanks a lot for the answers. Unfortunately I don't enough points to chat in physics.SE, so I might consider asking any questions I have here.

7:18 PM
Well, you might ask in some already existing room.
In any case, once you get to 200 reputation points points here, you will be eligible for the association bonus on other sites.
Which means you would have enough points to create chat rooms.

I know it has not picked up, yet, but if this whole floor function thing becomes something larger and worthwhile. Would the floor function tag continue to be used, or would a separate tag be created for jump series, related questions. I know I'm probably being presumptuous, but I'm mostly thinking towards the future with this question.
