Q: How sould basic questions about transfinite ordinals and cardinals be tagged?

Henning MakholmI was about to retag this question when I noticed that neither of the elementary-set-theory or set-theory tags seems to really want questions of this tag. The tag wikis say: elementary-set-theory This tag is for elementary questions on set theory, spanning topics usually found in introd...

I will just point out that revision 4 of the [tag-info for elementary-set-theory] contained "transfinite induction, well-orders, ordinal and cardinal arithmetic". It was removed in revision 5. See also this comment exchange around the time when the tag-info was edited. — Martin Sleziak 4 mins ago

@AndrésE.Caicedo I just wanted to make sure that you are aware of this question on meta: How should basic questions about transfinite ordinals and cardinals be tagged? Since you have edited the tag-info to remove "transfinite induction, well-orders, ordinal and cardinal arithmetic", it's quite likely that you have something to say about this topic.
I did not see any messages by Andrés E. Caicedo in this room, so if I wanted to ping him, I had to do so elsewhere.

A new tag was created by Paracosmiste. The same user posted some time ago this on meta: The geometry-without-trigonometry tag. Later reposted in the tag management thread: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/3740/2019/6/23

Q: The set of point $MA+\lambda MB=k$

Paracosmiste$A$ and $B$ are fixed points and $k,\lambda\in\mathbb{R}$. If $\lambda=1$ and $AB<k$ we obtain an ellipse. If $\lambda=-1$ and $AB<k$ we obtain an hyperbola. For $|\lambda|\neq 1$, the equation of the locus has the form $\displaystyle y=\sqrt{bx^2+cx+d+\sqrt{mx+n}}$. What is known about the geo...
