Currently this tag is a synonym of general-topology‌​.
I will just point out that currently the tag (homeomorphism) is a synonym of general-topology. I proposed the synonym in July 2016. There was also a discussion about possibility of blacklisting the tag: Should we blacklist [homeomorphism]?. — Martin Sleziak 4 mins ago
Is there a way to find out when a synonym was approve. In the list of tag synonyms I see: "Jul 7 '16 at 12:28". This is the date when the synonym was proposed, right?
OTOH it seems that this was standalone tag in March 2017: math.stackexchange.com/posts/2168596/revisions
