Perhaps it would be worth to make a post about these tags in the tag management thread. Probably just a short post with a proposal to create tags and explaining that they are potentially useful would be ok - asking for the feedback from other users at the same time.

No problem, I don't think that it is something that has to be done right away.
In fact, with holidays coming people will probably spend less time on the site - so if it posted a bit later when the traffic increases again, it's more likely that the post gains some attention.
