Are there any list of tags
and I could add this new tag with its properties?
Or I need to create a new post on Meta stack exchange?
saying that I have created this tag?
Any suggestions?@MartinSleziak

@BAYMAX Users often suggest new tags in the Tag management thread. But since you have already created this one a there might be a longer discussion involved, probably a separate post would be better. (Additionally, I suppose the 2017 thread will be closed sometimes after new calendar year starts.)
As I've mentioned before, there are a few related posts on meta.

I now see my mistake
I see now that there is a tag named "contest-math"
it says the same that it is related to questions from math-competitions
How can I ask to delete this tag?
@MartinSleziak

9:11 AM
@BAYMAX The tag has a completely different purpose from the tag which you have created.

How?

I created competition-math to deal with questions asked apart from GRE and GMAT exam
I honestly see the same purpose, can you say what is competition-math for?

@BAYMAX It is described in the tag-info.

am i confusing b/w exam and competition?

9:13 AM
For example International Mathematical Olympiad is a mathematical competition and question and the problems from this competition would belong under tag.
But IMO is not a competitive exam, and (as far as I can tall) CSIR NET is not a mathematical competition.

oh
CSIR NET is an exam where students compete to get qualified and get fellowship
then would it not belong to Mathematical competition

Yes

So there's nothing more to do now. The tag will be removed by an automated system during the next 24 hours: I accidentally created a tag. How do I delete it?

ok, thanks!

If you still think tag is need, you should first suggest it on meta rather than start adding it to questions without discussion.

Yes, will keep it in mind

Especially considering that past discussions show negative view towards such tags and removal of GRE tag gained some support (it is currently at +5).

I'll add that I've mentioned the discussion from this room also in Room for Maneesh Narayanan and BAYMAX. (Since both of them created somewhat similar tags, it seemed reasonable to mention it there, too.)
