Q: Making centroid tag-wiki more general

hardmathThe centroid tag specifically references plane figures. In rehabilitating this Question, "Integrating to find mass and centre of mass", I wanted to add a relevant tag to the current "calculus". However the shape there is (if interpreted simply) three-dimensional. Given the commonality in defin...

@MartinSleziak I think probably it is time to have some actions concerning the MVT tag? One might just untag everything, but untagging only those concerning mean value properties and changing the tag wiki seems also feasible.
And Guy Fsone is retagging again.

@quid Would you mind looking at the issue with the tag?
But if not I can briefly summarized.
It was discussed long time ago whether we should have such a tag - decision was to remove it: Tag proposal: mean-value-theorem.
Although I should admit that more recent related discussion was inconclusive: Do some calculus theorems deserve to have their own tag?
The new tag is a bit different - which is why I raised the issue on meta. It was suggested as a tag for mean value property of harmonic functions. (Only later it turned out that the tag-creator actually means it for both meaning.)
John Ma's answer suggesting to remove the tag is currently at +5. Is this enough to call it consensus and start removing the tag?
I would have no problem with waiting a bit longer, but it seems that the tag is growing. From the taxonomist badge I see that it was at 50 questions on Nov 27. Now it is at 64. It seems that it was added mostly by the tag creator.
@JohnMa I have asked quid's for opinion on this. Partly as a user who is rather experienced and participated in many tag-related discussions. And, additionally, since the last election quid is also a mod - which bears a bit more authority than regular users.

I had not followed this. Seems not like a good tag to me at first glance. To remove it one might also consider a merge into say, calculus.

merge with syn or just merge?
If it is just merge, complex-analysis might be a better candidate, most questions are probably about harmonic functions. (And the ones from calculus could be cleaned up manually.)

Without syn, just to get rid of it. Like a poor-person's delete.

Yes, I see. Basically "delete tag without bumping" through a "hack".

On a second look I agree that calculus is not a great target maybe.

There are 31 question tagged mean-value-theorem+harmonic-functions.
There are 25 questions tagged mean-value-theorem+calculus.
So whichever way we go, about half of the question is going to be retagged manually.
But the first question is whether the tag should be removed. (Based both on the discussion here in chat and the voting on the meta post.)
I could live with and also with . (But I am definitely not saying that they are great tags.)
What I really dislike is having both topics under the same tag. (And comments and votes on Guy Fsone's answer suggest that I am not the only one with the opinion that they should not be under the same tag. Even if we admit having tags for these topics.)
Looking at old posts which were bumped recently, I see several retags by Guy Fsone about an hour ago.

@MartinSleziak yes, this seems bad to me too.
