I am wondering about if it is generally good practice to encourage someone posting about verifying their own proof to instead format their post as a question where they also post an answer? I specifically thought of this after looking at this question On open sets and closed sets where the asker ...
I have created solution-verification. I will wait a while whether somebody will protest against creating such tag. (I think it might be useful, since we had several discussions about this and the tag might make finding older discussion easier.)
I will later start to retag older questions. (In a slow rate, perhaps 2-3 questions per week.)
And I still think that on-site-contests might be useful on meta, too. So I plan to create such tag on meta as well.
(But I think that for today two retags were enough.)
