Hi key reflection test. till need more light on bg and a less reflective material

12:43 PM
@joojaa is that a GoPro screw?

@WELZ yes except its a bit thinner since supprise supprise the screw is 2 mm too big and jams against the current cover.
and it iis going to be made in aluminium because that all i have at the moment
very astute observer we have here
its actually milling the base shape now

1:47 PM
@joojaa I'm a bit of a GoPro enthusiast, so I recognize the parts right away...
@joojaa what's it for?

@WELZ same thing as a gopro crew except it actually works on all our equipment

Yeh, I noticed that other companies/products started using that as a standard mount (it's pretty good)

2:07 PM
@WELZ well i kindof mean that the few gopro accessories we have doint fit the standard screw so if i make it a bit smaller then it works. I dont know its good or not i just scaled it becaue i was asked to.
No magic there. If i get asked to make this but smaller... then ist not really conductive for deep design.

@joojaa are you able to elaborate on this?

@WELZ you know that there would have been a more efficient way than aligning individual triangles. Right

A: Aligning neighbouring paths and “connecting” anchors in Illustrator

joojaaI won't directly answer the question, I will, instead suggest an alternate workflow. The benefit of this workflow is that it is guaranteed that you will not get this problem. First build a isometric grid. Make vertical lines and rotate the field 2 times with 120 degree offset. Tip: If you make ...

Your situation is same with 2 changes:
grid rotated 60 degrees
instead of drag click.
@WELZ does it answer your question?

I don't know if it's not possible or if my search-fu is failing me, does anyone know if I can collapse Illustrator window tabs so that I can always see all open documents?
whops, wrong chat :D

3:45 PM
@joojaa I'm gonna take a look at it later, but it seems like a solid plan, thx
