@cmw The main thing I've learned so far is that Warren Cowgill’s name is /ˈkoʊɡɪl/, not /ˈkaʊɡɪl/.
And also that gerundive doesn't rhyme with dive even though the Latin has a long i there.

@Cairnarvon Yeah, even in America we adopt the British pronunciation for this (dʒəˈɹʌndɪv).
Good to know about Cowgill though!
