2:30 PM
In Thailand, the police have switched to light sabres.
(The only thing I know from Star Wars.)
3:10 PM
@Cerberus Are those red or yellow? The former is used used by bad guys and the former and the latter by temple guards in Star Wars.
@JoonasIlmavirta Implying that temple guards are not evil?
Maybe this orange is the Thai way of expressing that everyone is a shade of grey in real life.
3:42 PM
@Cerberus Yes, as a rule of thumb. In many stories the lines between good and evil are very blurry, though.
...as I assume @Adam noticed in the finale of the first season of the Acolyte.
The Grand Inquisitor was a former temple guard. He was also in Ahsoka.
@JoonasIlmavirta Oh, no!
4:37 PM
@JoonasIlmavirta Oh yes.
@Adam They teased two very interesting new characters for a second season.
@JoonasIlmavirta I think I know which two you mean; one in a cave on the unknown planet and one that Vernestra meets in the final scene?
5:19 PM
@Adam Exactly. And we can reasonably guess the two names, although neither was given.
5:34 PM
@JoonasIlmavirta Yea, both seemed pretty obvious. I was a bit surprised by the choice for the fellow in the cave... I thought they might have went with his master.

1 hour later…
6:42 PM
@Adam If memory serves me well, his species is known for its longevity. This is about a century before the prequels, so the timeline adds up.
That said, I'm not sure which one of the two I'd have guessed. And it's not entirely out of the question that they're both alive. The Legends timeline is going to be erased anyway, so we don't know much yet. That might just be one layer too many, though.
On an unrelated note, I don't think they had a P&T magic show like they do now in Vegas.

2 hours later…
8:28 PM
@JoonasIlmavirta Oh, are you there now?
@JoonasIlmavirta That's true. They could very easily make big changes with who is master to who and when.
9:00 PM
@Adam No, I've never been to Nevada. Seeing their show would be just about the only reason to go.
@JoonasIlmavirta We went to Las Vegas once to get together with my brothers. It was a lot of fun (and we never even gambled, not that I particularly care for it). Went on a tour of the Hoover Dam, an called "Bodies" which had all these preserved remains of humans, like just the nervous system.
Oh, I also highly recommend the Atomic Testing Museum.
