@Adam We were exposed for six years in high school. Not quite like living near Fukushima, but yeah. I also read more French later, e.g. we had to read articles in French and German at university, and novels, and visiting France.
@Cerberus My high school offered French but I didn't take it; I couldn't fit a language course in because I was all full with science, math, and band. Perhaps you could say I was close because I played french horn? haha...
