I feel like on average berserker is better than ruby bolts hitting more often

Especially since they already hit twice as often (which is just 12% without Kandarin or 13% with but that's still better than 6%)

Interestingly emerald bolts always proc I think with the relic

Which probably isn't good but it sounds funny

Sapphire bolts to 50%, dang I kinda wish I had muspah

And diamond to 20% which is real good

I went magic and I was already leaning towards berserker, and then I saw a thread about how if you attack at long range, you can send out multiple guaranteed max hits before the first one lands and reduces the monster's health below full, so that locked in my choice.

I love when your solution to Part 1 makes your solution to Part 2 take 10 seconds to code.

I also used some regex for parsing the input. I almost never use regex. Figured it's time I started to get more practice with it. I normally try to avoid regex.

I also got 69 lines. nice. Mind you it's only because I noticed I was at 67, so I just changed some stylign around a loop... BUT STILL

You don't have your GitHub linked. My 2.1 solution also flowed nicely into my 2.2 solution.

@Wipqozn I did not, but I just had to copy the for loop and change the conditions when checking each colour.

although given what you did, that was probably the intended solution

in sport climbing parlance, I'm a beta breaker.

but it also lets me shortcut some paths on part 1

Q: Why are Shadows immune to Repulsing Seal?

I used a Repulsing Seal trap on some Shadows. "Immune" popped up above their heads when it went off, and in the battle logs at the bottom right, I see their Fortitude defence show up as "Imm.": I'm puzzled by why. I know that the Fighter's Knock Down ability works on Shadows, which - like Repuls...
