Q: Powering a redstone torch on a block adjacent to a redstone lamp without powering the lamp

Looky1173Would it be possible to power the redstone torch in this configuration without powering the redstone lamp?

@Fredy31 Genshin actually joined in on the April Fool pranks....
will backfire horrendously when players will actually ask for the pet cats next survey.

Just started playing Magic (via MTG Arena) a week and a half ago after some four years of quietly following the game. The Board & Card Games chat is really quiet, so...
It's one thing to know the basic rules, but another to put them into practice.
At least I mostly know what I'm doing.
(token removal on the opponent's end step)
Oh, and "Teferi wuz here", lol
(note the old-fashioned battlefield theme and worn-out default card back for April Fools Day)
Sega released The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog for april fools, and it's a genuinely good visual novel, and surprisingly solid sonic game

("Teferi wuz here", referencing Disruptive Student)
I play Magic a lot, and I've also been playing a bunch of Arena lately
It took me a while to get the hang of things. Haven't played ranked or anything; the screenshot above is from the Starter Deck Duel event, using the Angelic Accountants deck (Azorius, angel tribal, +1/+1 counters).
I just kept losing a few days back, but since managed to make sense out of it. Magic is a notoriously complex game, and I only picked it up this quickly because I've been following the game quietly for several years.
I got a bunch of physical Magic cards some three years back but COVID disrupted my plans to actually play. Until recently, the last set I bought into was Throne of Eldraine.
After finding that several of my colleagues and relatives are into it, I figured this would be the right time to jump back in.
Ended up with a Phyrexia: All Will Be One set booster box.
It's been busy.

Yeah, I like that starter deck too. I've mostly been grinding ranked with a mono-red aggro deck and drafting whenever I have the gold for it.
In paper I mainly play Commander
I've yet to play a single game of paper Magic. Haven't had a chance to build a cohesive deck just yet...
Well, until then, Arena is definitely a good way to get the hang of it. Just remember that damage to creatures doesn't actually reduce toughness, and Arena just shows it that way as a shorthand
I know, damage is technically "marked" on the creature.
