I think it was better than meh, but I agree it wasn't phenomenal. It's a good watch but I haven't exactly thought about it much in the 3 years since I watched it
The animation was significantly better than any of the other 3d anime-esque stuff that came out at the time though
Animation was good, yes. The narrative weirdly didn't feel that compelling, although I'm a little interested to see if they'll do any development for dark magic or whether it'll just be the Dark Side of the Force again.
