lol osrs cheat client players in shambles
They announced that going forward effective 6/24 only four clients are authorized: vanilla, runelite, hdos, and osbuddy
First offense is 2 weeks, second offense is a perma
There was a ban wave for openosrs users today
Probably a good time to do wilderness stuff actually
Funniest is still this one from a 3pc dev lmao
That would be why you got hit with a macroing minor (2 weeks) lol

Third party clients have been a thing for a long time and technically against the rules the whole time but, runelite is such a good client that they couldn't really just ban everyone
So now they're partnering with some of them and making it clear that this list and only this list is allowed, the anticheat team will take care of the rest of you
They have integrated some cheat client features that do make sense which is nice, you can hide dead npcs in runelite now
All that does is make it so you don't have to guess which guy in a pile is alive and can be attacked

It'd be XP waste not to, and that could be hiscore ranks
I do like that their original post doesn't claim "I've been using runelite" it just says "I don't use openosrs"
Which is still true, however, that's not what the rule is
