Q: How do I enable PVP in creative mode NMS?

My friends and I wish to have a No Man's Sky PVP battle, using creative mode to get our weapons, tools, and upgrades. In the meantime, on twitter, customers continue to be rightly mad.

(remember: if you got the DLC from the web version of the store there was NO warning it worked only for the digital version of the game)

I am also quite intrigued by the message Tyrone posted (warning: offensive language) while avoiding any reply in the above thread . Should we consider that a coincidence or a subtle reply, giving the timing?

I'm not sure if there is a time limit, but I'm pretty sure (for UK customers) this would be covered under the consumer rights act. citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/phone-internet-downloads-or-tv/…

so they'd be entitled to a refund

@MattE.Эллен My guts would tell me that given the mistake Nintendo did on the web version of the shop, where no warning was given about the incompatibility of the dlc with the cart version of the game... most countries would recognize that as false advertising and that alone would entitle you to a refund.

What I don't know is if you would then have a "time limit" to use your right.

in the UK, it's six months if the company can't prove it wasn't faulty at purchase, and indefinite if the customer can prove it was faulty at purchase: gov.uk/accepting-returns-and-giving-refunds

So everyone assumed that they would fix the current available DLC to also work with the cart version

NOT release a separate item.

So, most did not bother to ask a refund back then because he mistracked them into thinking the version they got would be fixed.

To be more precise....

As of today, Nintendo Web version of the shop still list only the FIRST version of the DLC

with no warning that it won't work on the cart version of the game.

So, people buying thru the site are still mislead into potentially buying the wrong version of the dlc
