"2.4 Ghz and the 5 Ghz bands combine up to a speed of 1300 Mbps, which is divided roughly 400-867 in this case"
this is standard stuff, not sure about the half-duplex tho, hadn't really heard that mentioned often

@ToxicFrog Remote/contactless payment, machine waitlists, highscore tracking, maintenance status and accessibility info by machine...
Many possibilities, although it seems they are not really as common as I'd hoped or a thing at all really
My current program has given me a task with designing one.. haha. Ended up just comparing some websites for a few different venues

4:53 AM
The only arcades I go to are either $5 for about 1 hour of free play or free play as long as you order something from the bar lol
(plus pinball machines and killer queen)
Actually I wonder if either of them are open
I should find out
One is in abandoned mall space so if it's closed honestly fair
Though I think the owner has another abandoned mall suite rented just for storage
hmm open but not during weekday lunch hours anymore (we used to go occasionally on Fridays)

@Wipqozn I think the biggest pushback would be from people with vast physical collections that would have to start that collection all over

> a digital only card game would certainly be cheaper
lol at the idea that they'd make the cards cheaper rather than just increasing their margins

@ToxicFrog it is though, assuming they have a duplicate protection
Like, even something like Hearthstone where duplicate cards can be turned to dust to buy other cards

12:32 PM
@ToxicFrog I meant cheaper for them to run
No way they'd pass those savings onto customers, otherwise why bother? This is CAPITALISM LAND.

Blizzard Recruiters Asked Hacker If She ‘Liked Being Penetrated’ at Job Fair vice.com/en/article/3aq4vv/…
> Emily Mitchell, a security researcher who at the time was looking for a job, approached the Blizzard booth to see what positions were open at the company.
> When she got to the table, she said she asked about the penetration testing position. Penetration testing, or pentesting, is the industry term for a security audit. Mitchell said she was wearing a t-shirt made by cybersecurity company SecureState, which had "Penetration Expert" on the front. One of the Blizzard employees first asked if she was lost, another one asked if she was at the conference with her boyfriend, and another one asked if she even knew what pentesting was.
> "One of them asked me when was the last time I was personally penetrated, if I liked being penetrated, and how often I got penetrated," Mitchell told Waypoint. "I was furious and felt humiliated so I took the free swag and left."
holy hell
