Alright, finally got back to it and finished it up

Now when I log into my computer, it'll scan my company's ec2 instances and automatically generate an ssh config that my terminal will tap into so I can quickly and easily open an SSH connection to any of them

And it'll automatically execute a docker ps when it connects

And set up a cronjob for it so it'll run at 9:05 every morning because I do not restart my computer every day

Where can I request deletion of a file that I uploaded? I accidentally uploaded an image that contained my real name into the post editor. I haven't clicked the "Post Your Answer" button yet so the post and the image URL aren't visible, but for privacy's sake, can I request the image's deletion?

@Wipqozn We use ECS clusters, so we're never quite sure which task is running on which server

So sometimes if I'm looking to ssh into a particular task I have to check multiple servers

So I went through and added all our servers to my ssh config

Except, whenever we deploy it kills the existing servers and creates new ones

So the next time we deployed, my ssh config no longer worked

Now it'll keep itself up to date

@Niro So you don't control all the ship parts individually, you just sit down at the rudder and can turn it side to side (But it's like sea of thieves in that it's not just "a is left and d is right" but instead "a turns the rudder to the left and d turns it to the right") and you can set your speed. speed is really realistic, too. You can scull backwards, scull forwards, half-sail, and full-sail.

@Niro You don't have to set the sail angle, it automatically goes to the optimal angle, but the wind mechanics are very realistic. Unlike SoT, you can't sail into the wind, you have to tack. And one of the devs must be a sailor, because the speed is accurate relative to the wind. You go fastest when you're on a reach (perpendicular to the wind), a bit slower when you're tacking or angling downwind, and the slowest movement is directly downwind

I'm impressed with it, and I've been sailing for 22 years now

@Akixkisu I'm not sure it can be reworded. It's also possible some (maybe even most) of the other 200 questions should be closed as well. Is your unranked MMR visible? It's not in Overwatch, and even some questions about how ranked SR is calculated/adjusted would be off-topic for the same reason.

@Akixkisu That we can't possibly answer it. It's math that's intentionally obscured and can change at the whim of the developer. The why is clearly developer intent and the how is meant to be a black box to players.

Usually MMR is kept secret because if people know how it works, there's a good chance they can abuse it in order to get more wins

@Akixkisu Probably not. MMR is rarely as simple as an ELO calculation. Player ranked SR is visible in Overwatch, at a minimum to that player, and therefore changes are visible as well. However, changes don't only take into account the end state of the match, it also takes into account various metrics that let it determine things like how skilled you were in your role relative to the other players in the same role, how much of a team player you were, etc. All of that is intentionally opaque.

@Wrigglenite You won't notice the difference at 1080p. I think you'll only notice the difference at 2/4K, high FPS, special features like RTX or VR (which is really just very high resolution since it is driving two displays)

I think we've tapped out on improving graphics in 1080p for a few years now, so if you just want that then there's no point in getting something expensive. That doesn't mean the higher end cards aren't improving, and they'll also push down the prices for the less powerful cards

Again this is assuming cryptocurrency mining and supply issues don't drive up prices
