So I was in a 7-11 today paying for gas, and I heard a woman ask the dude behind the counter where a nearby restaurant was.

@LessPop_MoreFizz I was so happy when I got my red protodrake. It was right after they nerfed the one Nerubian Dungeon where you had to beat the boss in 2 min or whatever.
And yes, I realize you own 50x the WoW accolades as me.
Yeah, my group was lucky. We were going down the list, and as we were getting down to the last few, we saw a blue post or whatever that it was being nerfed.
So we were just like, "Oh. Let's wait an extra week".
Ah, those were the days. Tight knit group of friends kickin' butt for virtual points.
And for what it's worth, I think the Occulus gets a bad rap.
The red drake in the first few weeks was basically just a contest to see who could exploit the most things the most quickly, which is why it was so much fun.
It was all about creative LOS tactics and figuring out which bugged spells allowed for absurd dps.
Once they fixed everything and we had actual non-terrible gear, shit was easy and boring.

@pixel In general, the community as a whole has always severely underrated disc priests relative to their value at the high end of the raiding spectrum, so I tend to tune out disc priest complaints, tbqh.

I just remember laughing at the fact that for the first tier of cataclysm, I played the least hybridy class in the game, and I had to respec more times per raid than anyone else.
In the course of a cata-launch raid clear, I had to change specs... i want to say it was 8 or 9 times? And at least 5 of those at a trainer.
"But the oozes aren't supposed to target melee" ... "Yes, but you've died to it every single pull by not moving out" ... "It must be a bug, they're not supposed to target melee so why should I move?" ... "BECAUSE YOU ARE WIPING US, JUST FKING MOVE" one shot
