@Frank I guess it depends on what aspect of support you're required for, the Oracle internals are a cluster but the SQL side of things is fine except that 10g will suck for all the things you can't do

Yeah, there are a few oddities but overall it's not terrible. For perspective on the SQL side of it I wrote a thin abstraction layer that replaced a handful of tokens so we could support Postgres and Oracle simultaneously

Yes; you'll still need ADE to download it, but if you have that and Calibre and the Calibre deDRM plugins, you can extract the keys from ADE and use those to peel the DRM off the book and get a plain epub.

@BunsGlazing I should warn you though that Quadrail is a five-book series. You're only getting the first 60% of it.

That seems like too much if you aren't sure if you'll like it, and not enough if you are.

(I also think that it's not Zahn's best work in a world where The Icarus Hunt exists, but that's a separate discussion. They're definitely fun space adventures.)

(Really, "fun space adventures" describes most of what Zahn does, or sometimes "fun cyborg ninja adventures". I'd also recommend his Conquerors trilogy.)
