Q: LAN with no connection to main internet

This is a fairly simple question. Can I host/join a LAN game for minecraft if I have no connection to the main Internet? What I have is a router that can't be connected to the modem (I just don't have access to it. It isn't broken. ) and I want to be able to host a LAN game. Will it work?

Q: Methods to unlocking Mewtwo in Melee

I understand how Mewtwo is unlocked. but I am curious if anyone had a method to reach 20 hours of vs. play time quickly. or should i just mindlessly kill a lvl 1 handicap Pichu 500 more times?

You get off one good shot as an opener and have a full focus, and then you can usually just chaincast until everything dies.

You'll get a very good tank and a wizard and a priest basically immediately if you go where the game tells you to.

@MattGiltaji You don't need to disarm them because you can just go the long way around and fight like... 4 mobs, and you can also disarm them just by carrying a torch, of which there are many sitting in loot around the cave.

@Wipqozn Easy or Normal. The only difference is number of enemies, and you can change midgame, so it's NBD if you choose wrong.

(XP comes not from kills but from exploration/quest completion.)

(Well, a little bit from kills, but only until you complete the bestiary on each monster type, which only takes a few kills.)

Having XP tied to quests and exploration is just so much better then getting XP for...everything.

It just breaks immersion, and doesn't let you play the way you want, I find.

Tying it to quest completion is just brilliant... wish more games would do it.

Well when I get it (which might be soon...) I'll start on Normal, and can bump it up once I get a feel for the game or I find it too easy.

I love being able to switch difficulty mid-game. Leaves out the stress of "What will be the right idifficultry for me?!"

@AshleyNunn I assume the logout got triggered somehow while he was still logged in on his console. So when he tried to logout, the server spat an error, telling him that he was already logged out. What should happen now is that he would go the main menu (not logged in).

But I do wonder what would happen if he got sent to the logged-in version of the main menu.

(Yes, I'm ignoring the second sentence in the dialog)
