Really? I'm expecting more.

@KevinY Well, I mean, there hasn't really been an influx in eligible users since last time.
Maybe one or two, but obviously Grace, badp and Juan aren't nominating.
I probably won't either.

Hmm; how many people did nominate themselves last time?
Is it because you would make a terrible mod?

12
@KevinY It's because now I actually have a chance of winning.

@ArdaΞ Then you should nominate yourself (of course you wouldn't make a terrible mod).
Assuming you could put in enough time and all that stuff.

I just don't want to associate myself any more with StackExchange than I already have.

10:12 PM
._.

I might nominate, but I dislike responsibility.

Exactly.
If I did take up the spot, I would have a responsibility not to just wander off for a bit.

I mean, it'd be nice to have access to mod tools so I could keep things tidy, but I don't need the exposure.

With the way the network is going, I don't think it's a good idea to tie me to it.
@Brant That's Juan's tactic really.
Hardly ever really vocal, but he does brilliant work in the background.

Yeah, ideally I'd want something like that.
Not a make decisions mod position but a keep the website in good shape position.

10:14 PM
Too bad they don't offer janitor positions eh?

Mhm.
Well, I guess 10k is basically a janitor position.

Well, they do offer janitor positions, but those are taken by the forkies.
Anyway, since my previous nomination, it's become quite clear to me that I could never represent this community.

Isn't the janitor stuff just a pseudo-job before they start publicizing the sites?

This site has users far better equipped for that.
@KevinY I'm not sure.
Does make me wonder, though. I got a lot of votes in the election last time...

I might nominate myself this time.
I'll wait and see who else nominates themselves first (probably not the best thing to do).

10:33 PM
It's the blue one! It is back!

Any LoL players present?

Q: Jungling timings in league of legends

tarraschi was wondering if there was some kind of document where i could review the junglespeed of each champion. I don't want to know when they get to be lvl 6, but when they take which camp. Beeing able to tell where a champion is in the jungle and even more importantly, when they take their buffs, wo...

Honestly being a moderator it's not that big of a deal. This community runs itself pretty well

Is "At what times can junglers take camps" a sensible title for this?
or maybe "... take each camp"
Honestly, it's getting to the point where I want to play this game just so I can learn the lingo and phrase people's questions more effectively.

@badp Still, one of the main responsibilities of a moderator is to gauge and communicate the consensus of the community.

@brant I tried, it wasn't pleasant. I kept overstretching like there's no tomorrow.

10:39 PM
Of course that's not all of it, but it's there.
I mean, game-rec shows that pretty well, and we're going to have ITG discussions as well, and who knows what else.

@arda the main task of a mod is handling flags and pressing buttons on other people's demand, everything else is icing on the cake.

@badp Well, you're dealing with different people with different demands. You've got to decide which to follow.

If the matter is complicated, just make a question on meta.

A meta discussion usually doesn't end with one clear-cut solution.

If you don't want to make a call on a flag, just leave the flag to other mods to see. You're not alone

10:44 PM
I'm just too opinionated for it.

@arda sure you do have to make a few calls, but you can ask the other hundred moderatorsand many of the community managers - cough grace cough - for guidance

Well, anyway, judging on the whole I doubt people will have a better view of me since February.

I actually had forgot about it til you mentioned it.

@badp About what?
By February, I meant the election.
What you're probably thinking about was March, and not exactly an isolated incident.

I meant the little accident in between, obviously

10:53 PM
I don't recall what you mean.
looks up Twitter

Let me just say, if the result matters to you enough that it night cause you to quit, perhaps you can do something about it

@badp Now you've lost me.
Oh, right, Grace bookmarked it.
March 26.
Unless you're referring to something else entirely in which case I have no idea what you're talking about.
@badp What are you talking about?

I bookmarked what?

@GraceNote Oh, plenty of things, probably. Surely you read books?

Huh, so I did bookmark that. I thought someone else had

11:03 PM
Well, it's not the only reason, but it's definitely part of the reason I'm not re-nominating.

Many juicy new strings from steam
Support for intel identification protecting technology
Friend tagging

@badp Oh neat. They said they were gonna add that.

And most of all
Trading of tf2 backpack items, portal items and steam gifts. How many l4d2s is a bill's?

No way.
Seriously?
is sad now

You're the one who can double check on me.
Go visit sts.
I guess steamworks will include a way for other games to plug into this system
The strings do not mention that though

Q: Adventure-puzzler with clock-based progression?

Paul ZI'm trying to remember the name of a PC game I played a long time ago (late '90s). It was basically a third-person adventure puzzle game (like third-person Myst), in which the male protagonist had to solve various puzzles and mysteries in order to discover the final secret. The big feature was ...
