The rules of Bridge Pizza are as follows:
1) When a player declares the start of a game of Bridge Pizza, interested parties state one pizza topping of their choice in chat.
2) After two minutes, toppings are ordered by number of stars, or chronologically in the case of ties, and the player selects the first two (or three, or so on).
3) The player orders a pizza with those toppings. Toppings not available can be skipped.
4) Upon pizza delivery, the player posts pictures of the pizza to complete the game.

You shouldn't have anymore than 30. 20 should be sufficent.

Do you normally take fewer Pikmin for bosses?

I managed to beat him without losing a single Pikmin when I did it with 20 Flowered Yellow Pikmin. The group is small enough to never get sucked into his dirt sucking eating you attack.

Also, you can flip the guy over if you charge at him when he's shooting out dirt balls.

@Yawus Bosses usually benefit from a smaller group since larger groups just die too quickly. Plus for a lot of bosses just swarming with Pikmin isn't a great strategy. You normally need to throw them at the boss. You can't throw 100 Pikmin at a boss fast enough to get them all on.

To be honest I usually run around with smaller groups.

My default is to go out with 10 of each Pikmin type (maybe 20 red for combat), and then grab more Pikmin as required.

That's when I'm not sure what to expect mind you.

When I already have a plan for the day, due to previous explorings, I usually bring a more focused group.
