@quartata No, the conwaylife.com Quest-for-Tetris thread is up to date with the latest work I did (September 25). Version 3.1 of Golly will be out in a few days, and some fixes to the pattern collection and the Life Lexicon have gotten higher priority.

The metacell could be said to be about 75% complete, but it might really be more like 50% by the time all the annoying wrinkles are ironed out, especially with adding a metapixel area. Can't make any promises about when I'll have time to sit down and devote another day to it, so anyone should feel free to take over and start lining up Snark reflectors from neighbor metacells --

I can certainly provide the pieces (Snarks, maybe a few other reflectors, and glider merge circuits) and explain more or less what needs to be done, if anyone is interested in tackling the next part of the layout.
