Fake example of a similar change that should help since you didn't watch the images and thus lack context:
JP: Link, we must get the Master Sword! It is the only way to save Hyrule.
ENG: Link, what happens to me is not important, we must get the Master Sword to save Hyrule
Example 2:
JP: Link! My father don't believe me but I know that Ganondorf will return!
ENG: Link! When the stars will align Ganondorf will return!
This is not a case of "rewording to sound better / more epic / less harsh". This is plain "let's add elements that were never said as they where plot relevant"
@Memor-X YAY! More confusion!!!!
Must be cool to be a Neptunia fan, having to check the wiki every time a new game comes to understand if you already have it or not

8:46 AM
@Memor-X So, for example...
What should really be called "Neptunia 1" exists as
- Hyperdimension Neptunia on PS3
- Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 on the PSP (it is a complete remake, not a port. Same plot but "different" game)
- Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 PLUS (Enhanced PS4 port of the PSP remake)
- Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 "For Switch" (is this the PS4 game? the PSP one? a further enanchment ??)
- Neptunia re★Verse - PS5 version with more features than Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 PLUS
Official site seems to point to the Switch game being ports of the PSP versions
So this means that for Neptunia 1 you get the older version made obsolete by re★Verse

9:17 AM
@SPArcheon not really. though i've not played nearly as many as i have brought
@SPArcheon you mean Vita
as far as i am aware no Neptunia game was released on the PSP

@Memor-X yep, mixed the names up.
@Memor-X Well, I would call having FIVE versions of the same game quite a mess imho...
Because let's be honest: I expect the Switch version to not be an 1:1 port of the Vita nor the "Plus" Ps4 one

as for the first one. i would say the PS3 because it was the first however Rebirth did the plot alot better, in so-much as making it explicit that Vert and IF were gay for one another. beyond that the plot mostly follows the same points but more in a linear fashion
problem the original had was that in order to go to another nation you had to wait for it's land mass to be closer to the one you're on and the only way to progress time was to do dungeons. so the plot become a bit more open-ended because you could go from Planeptune to Lowee then to Lastion and then back to Planeptune because you missed your window to go to Lastation

@Memor-X The real problem now is that none of the games give you everything.
PS3 Hyperdimension Neptunia is the only version of the original game, with the original mechanics and everything.
The Re:Birth versions are remakes with altered gimmiks. The "Plus" PS4 versions also adds features to use characters from later games.
re★Verse adds even more content but also changes some gimmiks over Re:Birth if I understand correctly, making it yet another parallel remake.
so, apparently there are 5 version and at least "3" distinct ones. Original , Re:Birth and re★Verse.

@SPArcheon the original is very grindy and the only thing that kept me going though the dungeons was having Lady White Heart swear like every 3rd attack

@Memor-X Play Monster Menu (on nightmare mode) so that you will have your party constantly crying for food.

@Fredy31 New banner type.
The good news is that it works like the weapon banner but better: 50/50 on the first item you get, guarantee on the second (instead of two 50/50 and guaranteed on the third). If you pick a character you can only get characters and if you pick a weapon you can only get weapons.
The bad news is that it works like the weapon banner so the "fate point" resets every time the banner changes (if you fail the 50/50 and then the banner resets, you lose the guarantee)
Basically, it incentivizes whale spending since with the pity resetting when the banner changes that means that you need to commit to the full 180 pulls to be sure you get what you want.
Basically another VISA flexing banner

Q: What's the software used in Megaman X speedruns?

dag729I'm starting out with my personal journey toward a 100% speedrun of Megaman X and I noticed that pretty much every speedrunner on YouTube are using a software that keeps track of time for each level: do you know what it is?

As expected, it is getting tons of hate on reddit and the Hoyoverse forums.
It is a way to guarantee older characters that lacks the guarantee carry over to force FOMO on the player (you missed Klee on the first time, now you have to use you guarantee before the banner ends or lose it - big incentive to make vulnerable people spend). Whale obviously don't care since they will pull everything at once.
Also, comes right before Neuvilette and Arlecchino to bait people in spending their resources now.
Luckly those who wanted a Klee probably already got one, Albedo is kinda bad and Eula is very odd since physical damage is a waste in a reaction based game.
also means that older characters will fall in this limbo for new players.
So, thinking back to what I just said it is even worse. Older players already have a Klee/Eula/Albedo but new ones may be forced to pull here if they no longer rerun as regular Limited banners with saved gurantee
