I've always had a reaction time measured in seconds (literally). Recently, I bought pinball arcade and was trying to learn to play it. I'm too slow to 'nudge' the table. By the time I register what's going on, its already too late to do anything.
I've tried to look up stuff online about this, bu...
Recently Rocket League announced a Rocket Pass that will be a method to get more items based on seasons, mostly like Fortnite.
I know that Fortnite can be linked to an account so the progress is the same on consoles and PC with the same account, but regarding Rocket League ... It has been some i...
and we were worried that our pug was starting to have health problems but the vet said she is in excellent condition for her age
@TheMattbat999 yeah. going well with her. she is "reading" these days, meaning she holds the book open and babbles a story to herself that may or may not have anything to do with what is actually in the book
So I'm doing the Tumble hospital, and I've noticed that both the reception and fracture ward have a Hospital Cross with an arrow symbol over them (see below), but I'm not really sure what they mean. They've been up there for a while, and I've mostly been ignoring them, but I'm starting to worry t...
@GodEmperorDune I'm so sorry. IT was the first result that popped when I searched for a youtube source, and I was on my phone so I didn't want to find another.
I've just started playing the game and it takes very long to get enough candies to progress so is there any way that I can get candies faster or do I have to just?
Whenever I open the map or the menu, the world around me seems to continue moving. Is there a way to completely pause the game? Playing on the PS4, it does not seem like the PS button menu pauses the game either.
When horse races first become available, there are two races available. Both are bronze league, one easy, and one difficult. I placed second in the difficult race. The NPC won't let me try again, stating the race is not available.
Can a race ever be reattempted, to try and get the first place re...
Due to the powerful earthquake in Hokkaido, Japan, we have decided to delay this week’s planned Nintendo Direct. We will provide a new time and date in the near future. Thank you for your understanding.
In Lacuna Passage, one of the items that I have found exploring is a USB Drive. It could be dissected for parts, but I can't help but think that there is something useful on it. Can I actually do something useful with the USB, or should I take it apart?
Everytime I try to open dota it gives me error message, "searching for dota 2 game coordinator". And after that it says, "Connected to dota 2 Game coordinator; loggin in". But I am not able to do anything in dota.
I tried restarting dota 2 several times and also tried steam restart but nothing i...
Looking at this guide, it appears that the healing ability is only on Heroic. But in the fight, I was noticing that the Bloodhexers had the buff that if they were in 20 yards it would heal all ally's, and it was in the dungeon journal under normal.
During the fight I can't remember it happening ...
At the time, though I was far too confused to think about that

@SaintWacko Yeah I feel you on that one, someone interrupting you in the bathroom doesn't really give you time to logic it all out amid being startled that they're talking
I wonder if they were going to announce a release date
Nintendo's official website has accidentally revealed the title of next year's Yoshi game early - Yoshi's Crafted World: https://nintendowire.com/news/2018/09/06/yoshis-crafted-world-title-accidentally-leaked-early/

I noticed a listing where someone asked for a poliwhirl, any lvl any gender. I have one of these but was unable to select it. The only reason I could come up with was me not being the OT, as I received it in a wondertrade. Hoping someone knows the answer. Thanks!
@Ave For anyone not aware of the context, this was made after it became public knowledge that Volkswagen the company used "defeat devices" to cheat emissions tests

@Yuuki I like playing WoW, I just dont have any interest in watching others do it
So in the DF Wiki on the Workshops page it mentions to "Remember to turn off prepared food." on the stockpiles.....why exactly do we do that? Is this so the prepared food isn't broken down to be used again? or just in general it's a bad practice to store prepared food?
As a side question...im as...
@Yuuki Although there was that one time their main tank and GM broke his arm while armwrestling at Dreamhack like 2 months before the expansion launched
Honestly, not making it to the finals on home turf wouldn't be so bad if they didn't swagger around so much and treat it like winning the World Cup was a done deal.
So I visited the doctor yesterday. According to the email I received 2 hours ago, the part my healthcare pays has already been refunded to me. Although there does seem to be a 51 cents difference between what I paid and what the doctor told my health care I paid
although she might just legally be allowed to round up

There's also multiple difficulty settings, so you can tell it to (e.g.) generate a layout that may require suitless Magmoor runs or OOB glitches or the like to complete
(which is to say, it's aware of known glitches and if you want to do a glitched run it will generate a layout that is "completable with glitches" a la low% MP1 speedruns)

@Niro I have realized that Letterkenny has made me unable to read "allegedly" without hearing it in Squirrely Dan's voice.
The easiest setting "requires no advanced knowledge about the game, nor does it require any glitches or sequence breaks to be used, making it ideal for casual players"
It does note that while the game is always completable it can't 100% rule out softlocks from e.g. entering a room that requires the x-ray visor to get out of before you have the x-ray visor, but it does try
Re speedruns, randomizers have gotten really big in speedrunning, and the LTTP randomizer is probably the most popular -- a big LTTP randomizer race tournament just wrapped up (where both runners play the same seed, but neither has seen it before)
There's even an LTTP/SM combo randomizer, that combines LTTP and Super Metroid into a single game and lets you find (but sadly not use) items for one in the other
So the SNES can load both at once without them overwriting each other and then you just need some glue code so that e.g. entering a door in LTTP takes you into Super Metroid and vice versa
I think it tries to group them together so you aren't constantly swapping between games at every doorway but I haven't actually played it, so don't quote me on that
I'm just glad it exists
Back to the MP1 randomizer, it also has options to shuffle artifacts or not, and options to shuffle the entire item pool together or shuffle ammo upgrades separate from everything else.
I'm installing the Dolphin retroarch core right now and if it works on my laptop (probably not, honestly) I will report back.
Looks like it includes some QoL options as well (you can skip the prologue in the space pirate frigate, and also skip the item pickup mini-cutscenes)
And it generates a "spoiler file" next to the ISO listing where it put all the items, in case you're having trouble finding stuff or you're doing a speedrun race and want the commentator to have prior knowledge or w/e
@Ash I am so excited for this, MP1 is quite possibly my favourite Metroid game

I have enough trouble with games when they're in the right order, especially stuff like Metroid :P
