Okay, when I said the crafting system in Rune Factory 4 was pretty in-depth and complex, I was mistaken. It's hella complicated. And fun!

Essentially, any craftable item in the game (weapons, armor, medicines, food, etc.) can have any ingredient tacked on as an extra.

Yes, you can forge and upgrade your giant buster sword with turnips.

And there's quite a few mechanics like skill inheritance and level/rarity bonuses to take into account.

And the farming system is surprisingly robust for a Rune Factory game.

In fact, it might even be more complex and interesting than a number of the Harvest Moon games I've played.

So we got to waypoint 9 out of 12 for this multicache and we just couldn't find it. :( We even went back to the previous WP to doublecheck the coordinates but no go. Then it started getting late, so we just had to give up for now.

So I finished the second arc of RF4.

Anyone who likes Harvest Moon should definitely get it for the farming system unless they're no good at hack-and-slashes.

@FAE Oh, I like when people do that. We were doing a puzzle cache once at the park near me and it required you to get information off the memorial benches, and so we got most of the way through it, only to discover one of the benches had been removed from the park :(
