@LessPop_MoreFizz Okay, system shock is really freaking me out. Hearing these voices "things your tiny mind can not really conceive" is so freaky and unnerving. I accidentally opened a door when it was happening and thought some enemy snuck up on me and it freaked me out and I run into a room to defend myself and nothing was there.

Not in terms of being surprising per se, but just in terms of the execution of it is pitch perfect.

I'm debating between Tier 1 of psi, or upgrading to Hack level 3.

@WorldEngineer Nah, Hack 2 is plenty for early on. Just get to Hack 4 before you hit the residential sector and you'll be fine.

@LessPop_MoreFizz Maintenance would imply that the wrench isn't the best weapon ever.

As forPsi, you only really want it to get to Psi 3 for the power that lets you use psi points to recharge the powered armor; so rush to that once you get it.

@WorldEngineer Yeah,I figured. It's my best friend right now.

@Wipqozn No, Maintenance is amazing even, (hell, especially) for Wrench builds because each point adds +10% to max charge of your upgrades and power armor which is the best thing ever.

I mostly just use my pistol for security cameras right now. The odd monkey or those default zombie dudes.

@WorldEngineer Yeah, but the tier 3 psi power is great because if you're not playing a psi build, you don't need psi for anything else anyway, which turns Psi Hypos into super common batteries, which is great.

The 100 is the battery charge on them; it decreases over time.

when it hits 0 they stop working until you find a recharge station or use a battery.

Also, is there any skill to Hack? or is it just completely random?

If there's some skill involves I can't see it. Just seems random.

@Wipqozn higher points in hack skill make the minigame more forgiving, but mostly it is just random.

10 points to unlock a tier is quite a hefty price tag.

@Wipqozn Nah, Psi is overrated and not really worth an investment.

Just get the tier 3 recharge and healing powers when you're swimming in nanites late game to make Psi Hypos less worthless. There's no rush.

Playing a Psi-focused character is hardmode

Standard Weapons is your bread and butter. Between Wrench and Assault Rifle, there is next to nothing you can't handle.

The wrench is OP.

@Brant I'm quite fond of doing a Psi-Energy Weapons combo.

Seriously.

Use Laser Rapier instead of wrench with all the melee buffs, laser pistol to take out robbits.

If you pretend you're playing Thief you basically win the game.

I think my favourite thing about this game is it seems like my decisiosn really matter. I'm not too far into it, but I get the sense I'm not going to be swimming in enough points that I can just get all the skills.

Their flagship beer, is an annual limted release known as "Zwanze".

After prices on bottled Zwanze on the second hand market skyrocketed into the high triple digits a few years ago, Cantillion has begun distributing only to a small sort list of bars for it to be released on tap only on one day every year.

In this case, Zwanze Day 2013 is on September 24th.

It is only being distributed to 44 bars.

Past Zwanze beers have included a Rhubarb Lambic, an Elderflower sour, a sour witbeer with coriander and orange peel, and a few others.

Basically, Zwanze Day is where you go to drink the most delicious lambics and sours on the planet.

And this year Toronto has made the list.
