I learned to dual boot and install linux and stuff and tried out Fedora briefly in college. It was fun to learn how, but the OS itself was pretty much just windows but faster but otherwise worse

@Ullallulloo When I leave all the settings at their defaults and then try to follow directions, and the very first direction tells me to try running something in the system settings that isn't there, it's full of fail.

Specifically, this was to install the nVidia graphics drivers.

Which tells me to go to System Settings, Additional Drivers. On Ubuntu 12.10. Which is what I was running. Which doesn't exist.

And this is an official guide on the official Ubuntu site.

Don't even get me started about how there's a 64-bit version of Steam, but the only way to install it requires me to sign up for a Canonical account

(The steam site gives you the 32-bit version, which fails on 64-bit Linux)

While we're on the subject of 64-bit, I'd rather install the 32-bit version, but the wubi installer doesn't give you a choice and installs the 64-bit version of whichever version I choose.

Critical damage is proportional to attack speed but that is already taken into account for DPS. If 2 weapon have the same DPS, and same critical chance, critical damage will improve the 2 weapons at the same rate.
